July

  • Sunday, July 20, 2008.  4th Annual Reid's Ride bike-a-thon.  This year we have improved on-line sign-up and pledge-paging and other improvements.  See the bike-a-thon page for more information. 

 April

  • College Young Adult Cancer Awareness Weeks.  College-student representatives for the Reid Sacco Memorial Foundation will set up information tables on their campuses.  The exercise builds awareness about young adult cancers, and recruits riders for the 4th Annual Reid's Ride on July 20, 2008.  Many of our representatives put out their tables to coincide with other health fairs occuring on campus in April.
  • High school seniors should have their applications for the Reid Sacco Memorial Scholarship in by the end this month.  Contact your guidance department for more information.  Applications for downloading will be available on the Scholarships page by mid-March.

March 

  • Red Sox Ticket Raffle.  We're holding a raffle to benefit the RS Memorial Cancer Research Fund.  Prize include some amazing Red Sox tickets, and a Kennebunkport Bracelet.  Winners will be drawn at the Dinner on March 24.  If you are interested in purchasing raffle tickets, call 978-239-8117, or 781-632-2025.
  • March 24, Dinner Night at Tasca Spanish Tapas restaurant (Brighton).  Make reservations with us to dine at Tasca on the evening of March 24 from 5pm to 11pm, and proceeds from your dinner will benefit the Reid Sacco Memorial Cancer Research Fund.  To make reservationVisit the Tasca's website at http://www.tascarestaurant.com/ for a view of its menu.  For reservations, go to the contact page and email us with a preferred time and the number in your party.  We'll confirm the information with Tosca, and let them know you are part of this benefit dining experience.

  • Friday, October 12.  "A cappella-stock", George Washington University, performance benefitting two cancer foundations, including the Reid R Sacco Memorial Foundation and its Cancer Research Fund.
