The first annual Reid R Sacco Memorial Golf Tournament at Hillview Country Club in North Reading Massachusetts was a wonderful success!  Originally scheduled for May 15, 2006 we had to reschedule due to the "Mother's Day" storm that carried over into Monday.  However, the weather on the 22nd was SPECTACULAR!!!.  Despite the short-notice postponement, nearly every available place was filled. 

We rounded out the event with a silent auction,  raffle prizes, contest prizes and a fine buffet dinner.  The tone of the day was set by a presentation made by Dr. Elly Barry of Dana Farber Cancer Institute who poignantly reminded everyone of our ultimate mission behind the event -- to raise funds to support research into the causes of --and cures for-- the cancers that affect adolescents and young adults.
